When you request a valuation we collect your vehicle registration, mileage, condition details, and your contact details (name, email, phone). We also collect standard analytics data such as pages visited and device type.
How we use it
Your vehicle and contact details are shared with verified dealers in our network solely so they can make offers on your car. We use analytics data to improve the service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We use essential cookies to run the site and optional analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can decline analytics cookies via the banner shown on your first visit.
Data retention
Vehicle submissions are kept for 12 months after your listing closes, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. Contact us at privacy@byctrade.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
