The service
BYC connects private sellers with verified UK dealers who compete to buy their vehicle. BYC is a marketplace: we do not buy vehicles ourselves and we are not a party to any sale agreed between you and a dealer.
Fees
BYC is free for sellers. We charge nothing to list a vehicle, receive offers, or accept one. Dealers pay a fee to access the platform.
Your responsibilities
You must be the registered keeper of the vehicle (or authorised to sell it) and provide accurate information about its condition, mileage, and history. Offers are made on the basis of the information you supply; material inaccuracies may void an offer.
Offers
Offers from dealers are committed subject to inspection. You are under no obligation to accept any offer, and you may withdraw your listing at any time before accepting.
Liability
We take reasonable care to verify dealers on the platform, but the sale contract is between you and the dealer. BYC is not liable for losses arising from that contract. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
